How to Properly Execute a Gage R&R – Part 1

What is a Gage R&R and what should you look for?

Gage R&R, short for Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility, is a method used by test engineers to determine a measurement system's reliability and consistency through statistics. It's commonly used in manufacturing and quality processes to ensure that testers are capable of accurately and consistently capturing the variation present in the production process, and working as they should. In this series, Matt Thompson one of our senior engineers breaks down the Gage R&R and explains what to look for.
